Dr. Reiter is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He completed the accelerated six-year combined BS/MD Honors Program in Medical Education at the University of Miami, followed by fellowship training in Spinal Surgery at Emory University. Currently, Dr. Reiter practices spine surgery in Summit, New Jersey, and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Rutgers Medical School. A distinguished leader in his field, he is a past president of the New Jersey Orthopedic Society and recently concluded a decade of service on the Board of Directors for the North American Spine Society. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Reiter is a peer reviewer for two medical journals and a prolific author, with extensive publications in spine surgery.
Dr. Reiter is also the inventor of the Sensiband wearable metal allergy testing device which is patented worldwide, FDA registered, and has the CE Mark in Europe.
